When the fighting started, Nam-gyu jumped at the weakest person in the O group he saw. Of course, he would have pummeled straight at Min-su, if the coward didn't run away the moment things got heated. Nonetheless, he got some good hits in, himself suffering little damage, before he heard Thanos yell MG Coin’s name at full volume. As he turned his head around to see what all of this was about, the YouTuber’s face was already swinging lifelessly to the floor, with deep blue complexion and red marks on his neck. Thanos on top of him. They did it. An X was eliminated, and the vote was in their favor. Nam-gyu decided to waste no time, he yelled at full lungs' capacity that they should stop before the guards come in. And after that, everything was a blur.
After the bathroom fight, Thanos lives, but they leave the games anyway. With fresh blood on his hands, pathetic spare change in his pocket and a hammering hangover, Nam-gyu is forced to face the reality alone, yet again. Until a miracle happens, and he meets up with Thanos again. For better or for worse, he makes sure he will hang around this time.

It’s not that Namgyu is a jealous person, and it’s not like he would even have reason to be, because it’s not like he and Thanos are in an actual relationship...
He’s just not particularly happy that Thanos crashed Namgyu’s boring shift to entertain him only to get distracted by a pair of pretty girls. Instead, he’s perfectly content with ignoring him back, finishing his shift, and returning to his own apartment.
Thanos has other plans, and happens to know how to best persuade Namgyu.

On Thursday, Nam-gyu ignored his headache, chalking it up to just not getting enough sleep before he left for work.
On Friday, the headache was not only still there but now more prominent, as well as being accompanied by a slight itch to his throat.
It was on Saturday that Nam-gyu got to a point where he could no longer make excuses– he was sick.
