Summary
Mustang doesn't expect Fullmetal to stay with the military after they return home from the war. He's just glad they share the train ride home. It's enough for him to prove that the kid actually survived and is, at the very least, okay.
He's looking forward to things returning to the way they were before. Minus Fullmetal, of course. But the weeks tick by with no sign of a resignation letter. Mustang should know better than to hope the kid will do what's expected of him.

Summary
Alphonse Elric doesn’t feel whole anymore. Ironic, considering he finally is. He sits in his bed and looks out the window and he can feel the warmth of the sun. He feels the draft of the cold air through the cracked window and the rough sheets beneath his body. After nearly four years in a metal suit of armor, he doesn’t take these things for granted.
Still, something isn’t right, and he doesn’t know what.

When all combat capable State Alchemist are dragged back to the front lines, Mustang does what he can to keep Edward out of it. He wouldn’t call his fourteen year-old subordinate combat capable, not for a war. The Amestrian State Military disagrees.

Summary
Order #3066 was the first time State Alchemists were actually drafted into a war. It wasn’t the last. In 1913, Creta and Aerugo sign a treaty to take arms against Amestris in a bid to secure the border wars.
No-one expected a war so soon after Ishval. No sooner had the blood dried on the soldiers’ hands than they were being called out again to war. It’s not an extermination like the rebellion in Ishval. It’s an all-out war. Amestris won’t let the war get out of hand again. They won’t wait for things to drag on as long as Ishval. All combat capable State Alchemists are ordered to the front lines within months of the war being declared.

Summary
Dazai slumps. “Chuuya’s ignoring me,” he admits. He doesn’t say any more, because that truth alone is risky enough. If he continues speaking, he’ll end up admitting how much it hurts that Chuuya won’t talk to him, how he misses Chuuya, how he just wishes he knew what he did wrong. How he hates Chuuya so vehemently it burns his chest, but the fear that Chuuya might hate him in return splinters each of his ribs and sinks a knife deep into his heart.
Dazai cannot fall victim to a direct attack from Chuuya’s ability, but he imagines this is what it feels like to have his weight pulled downward, crumpling beneath the unseen pressure of For the Tainted Sorrow until it’s stolen all the oxygen from his lungs and finally granted him the sweet release of death he so longs for.
“Ah,” Ango says, and then he drains the rest of his drink.

Summary
The first glimmer of surprise flickered through Dazai’s eyes when a scarf was placed over his shoulders, hanging just below where his shirt stopped. Crimson red, a symbol as ancient as the organisation itself.
Two fingers, delicate yet authoritative came up just under Dazai’s chin, tipping it upwards till his gaze shifted back to his own eyes in the mirror. Mori turned away, hands folded neatly behind his back.
“Osamu?” Mori’s voice, though measured, held a weight that commanded attention.
Dazai bit back his words, teeth clenched. “Yes?”
“Welcome home.”
The story of how Mori Ougai made one, final mistake. That’ll cost him everything.
Mori makes his choice, the Agency loses a member. As they prepare to say their goodbyes, laughing at themselves over the irony, the president makes a surprising offer.

Summary
Jonathan Sims is a perfectly normal co-worker, thank you very much.
He does not, as much as Colin would have anyone believe, 'know things he shouldn’t', nor does he 'stare too much' or 'ask questions no one can refuse'. Quite frankly, Colin is the unstable co-worker here, and Jon would appreciate it if everyone else agreed with him.
He is most certainly not from another universe, and he most certainly didn't bleed out in his lover's arms. That's absurd.
Jonathan Sims is a perfectly normal co-worker, and the voices in the computers mean nothing to him.
