Summary
In July 1962, Trapper and Hawkeye meet at a medical conference in Boston, and have dinner with Charles and Margaret. Hawkeye's been asked to write a book on trauma surgery in wartime: BJ is organizing a reunion for the 4077th in Chicago for the tenth anniversary of the end of the Korean war. Hawkeye flies home to New York and Francis Mulcahy.
The story follows the year from that meeting to 27th July 1963 when the 4077th meet in Chicago: the (so far) final story of the Sins and Virtues series.

"You're over here, Father," Hawkeye called, gesturing to the cot that was beside his own. "We drew straws for who'd get stuck snuggling up to who for body heat. And you," Hawkeye teased, "not being here to defend yourself, drew the short one by default." He was grinning crookedly at him in that way that always made Francis' face flush all the way up to his ears. Thank goodness for the frigid wind he'd just come in from that was surely offering him some amount of plausible deniability.
A freezing night and yet another fuel shortage means another night of huddling up in The Swamp.

Pierce tells her they're there, though, and maybe she can trust him.All her life, Margaret Houlihan has been good at playing games. When reality hurts, when it scares her, why not just step into a role, make the pain go away? Play a game, please whatever man that happens to be watching.
