Summary
Bowser and Luigi have been dating for ten years. It's not a secret - at least, not from their friends and families. King Boo, however, finds out and is not pleased. After all, Luigi is his mortal enemy, and more importantly, his. However, he makes the mistake of bringing back a ghost from Luigi's past to aid him, a certain Charming Magician named Dimentio, who also wants Luigi for his own. Dimentio's betrayal and revival leads to a mad chase between the three villains to marry Luigi first.
All the while, a sliver of the Chaos Heart managed to survive in Luigi, and it likewise revives with Dimentio, empowered by the negative emotions and darkness affecting Luigi. The more this negative energy grows, the more danger everyone will be in. Everyone needs to help Luigi overcome this darkness, stop King Boo and Dimentio, and reunite Luigi with Bowser so Bowser can actually propose.
