After a cryptic message from Clockwork and the Observant's, Danny's Junior Year Home Room gets the once-in-a-lifetime chance to explore the Ghost Zone as their field trip, his parents as their chaperons at that.
Like expected - even Lancer thought it would be a bad idea - things don't go planned.
Danny has to wonder if he can get them out of there without revealing his secret. It doesn't help that Sam had developed powers as well.(The Graphic Novels A Glitch in Time and Fair Game are not canon to this.)

This is an inspired work of fiction that I am using as writing practice. I have been sending it *exclusively* to my best friend, but I thought it was too amusing not to put out there. That said, do not take this too seriously as some parts are written badly either intentionally or because I need to practice accepting imperfect writing/wording. My goal is to update once a week, so considering I am nearly 50 chapters in I don't think that will be a problem. If there are some things that look like a joke but you don't get it, it's probably an inside joke that's either between my friend and I or it's a local thing. I absolutely have incorporated actual people into this work (said friend included). Again, the only audience I am really taking into consideration when I write this is her, so many of the references are for her amusement specifically, if not for my own. That said, I was like 9 when Danny Phantom came out, and I had a HUGE crush on him back in those days. I would have been 11 when the show ended, so I would consider him to be older than me since he was 14 in the show, making him at least 3 years my senior. In that respect, my liking for him is age appropriate. This is as the subtitle says: a teenage dream.

Who said falling in love with your greatest archenemy daughter is easy try protecting her from him. While Danny and her start to fall in love.

The Town of Amity Park thought itself resilient, and almost...whimsical--having adapted to the life of a classic "superhero town": the ghosts came, Phantom showed up and fought the ghosts back, the paramedics and fire brigade dealt with the damage, then the day went on. For the first time in Amity, the stakes are fatal--people are murdered or go missing, week after week. A new urban legend about a mysterious tv broadcast on rainy midnights, forecasting who's next.
