Summary
The plan is simple: seduce Obi-wan.
He's not exactly unfamiliar with flirting, has had time to practice his skills under the unacknowledged tutelage of The Negotiator himself. Obi-wan flirts like he breathes, and Anakin is an observant person when he wants to be. He knows the best way to plant that first seed is to approach with subtlety, like the first circling of an opponent during a spar, testing the other person's response to what's already been observed and finding the weak spots in their defences.
Or: Anakin figures out that Obi-wan is a vampire. The knowledge makes him a little crazy.

Summary
Anakin and Obi-Wan help out in the creche as the younglings make cards and learn an important holiday lesson about love as opposed to attachment. It turns out Anakin needs to learn that lesson too.
While trying to avoid the answer to a question about who Anakin's best friend is, Anakin accidentally ends up with a rotating list of best friends consisting of every youngling in the creche. Everyone gets a turn to be Anakin Skywalker's best friend which leaves Obi-Wan, who was once fairly confident in his status as Anakin's best friend, strangely hurt. Why didn't he just answer the question with the answer everyone expected and save them all the trouble?
After everything they've been through, does Anakin not know how Obi-Wan feels about him? Or worse, does Anakin not feel the same?

Or: Galadriel's new boyfriend Halbrand visits for the weekend. He ends up teaching her brothers a thing or two about how to make her behave.

Obi-Wan would do anything he could to make Anakin happy, even if that meant spending hours every day directing a laser pointer around the room for his young – far too young – Padawan to chase. Within the same moment he had lost his mentor, become a knight, and gained not only a student of his own, but the most powerful and controversial Padawan learner in recent or distant memory.
And that wasn't even taking into account his lothchild heritage – and the fact that, according to Qui-Gon's reports, the boy's mother was a perfectly average baseline human, and swore profusely that no father was involved in her son's conception – lothchild or otherwise.
"I guess the Force wanted its Chosen One to have cute ears and a fluffy tail," Master Windu had said sardonically.
Or, the story of how a freshly knighted Obi-Wan Kenobi found One Easy Trick to entertain his rambunctious half-cat Padawan - a Catawan, if you will.

Summary
When a cat shows up at Obi-Wan's door during leave from the war, he doesn't have much of a choice but to take it in. After all, the cat is pretty insistent that it wants to be by his side, every second of the day, always and forever.
And the only other sentient in the galaxy who has ever expressed a similar impulse is currently across the city, spending his leave with his senator wife and surely not thinking about his master puttering around in their old quarters. And anyway, Obi-Wan is...lonely. A feline companion may just be the thing that fixes him.
Or, Anakin turns into a cat. Obi-Wan is the last one to figure that out, despite all the similarities between his former padawan and his new cat.

Of course, Anakin misses a critical piece of information that reframes this narrative.

Endless boredom with one very integral bright spot.
Well, technically two.
An argument could, of course, be made for three.
Or, Obi-Wan has trouble counting. But to be fair, Anakin Skywalker--full-time galactic senator and part-time public speeder commute eye-candy--isn't exactly making it easy for him.
