“Hey, Pepper, how does the name Everest Maria Stark sound?” he asked, walking past her. The blonde looked up and followed him with her gaze
"Everest?" she repeated, a hint of surprise in her voice.
"Yeah, Everest. Problem with that?" Tony asked, glancing back at her with a raised brow.
"No, it’s just... different," Pepper replied, her heels clicking in rhythm behind him.
Tony gave a small smirk. "There’s a lot of ‘different’ happening right now, Pep. This? Not that far off."
She narrowed her eyes thoughtfully. "You don’t think it’s... irregular?"
He stopped at the doorway to the guest room, hesitating. "She’ll never be regular, Pep. She’s... she’s going to be raised by me." He turned to face her, noting the soft smile spreading across her face. "So, what do you think of the name?" he asked again, casually brushing off his last statement.
Pepper sighed, giving in with a smile. "It’s a good name, Mr. Stark."
"Thank you, Ms. Potts."

Buck smiles down at him, face shadowed under the fluorescent lights, “yeah?” There’s some anxious amusement in his voice, “you’ve got your last words?”
Eddie nods to himself, “yeah.”

Eddie gets stuck in the elevator, except Buck is there too.

The armchair feels too distant despite the fact that he’s almost pushed it fully up to the bed. Eddie watches again as Buck shudders. Fuck it. Eddie decides, tentatively, because it’s late and Buck looks so small and frail on his bed, Eddie has the ability to help, why doesn’t he do it? “Can I?” He motions to the bed.
Buck opens his eyes, locking them with Eddie’s. “Yeah,” he replies just as softly.
Eddie slowly crawls onto the left side of the bed and gently puts the covers over himself. Buck’s bed is objectively large, but Buck himself takes up over half of it.
He feels a shift as Buck twists a little closer to him, like a moth to a flame. Eddie can’t help it; he slowly puts his arm out and pulls Buck in.

Buck's still going through withdrawals and can't stop shaking. Eddie helps him by cuddling. -
