A plan brews between them to get their old jobs back, the remainder of the team gathering together in a midnight cabaret to devise such a scheme. But nobody here in Tuefort is normal, nobody. Not even you and I. So come, let's forget our troubles. At The Tuefort Burlesque.
(BTW!! I used the 1968 London Cast Recording of Cabaret, so some of the songs are different, missing lines or completely different)

Sounds were louder now but he couldn’t make them out, he could see someone speaking to him and hear the words but he didn’t know what they were saying. He was in too much pain as his circulatory system was jump started by the air forced through him, his heart was back to beating and it made him realize it had been so slow and quiet for a bit he couldn’t even remember it.
