Dark Lords and a Headmaster with a god complex are no deterrent to his mission.
This work will have many moments of mainly emotional violence, manipulation, verbal abuse, and such other instances; they are not for those of gentle hearts. Trigger warnings will not be placed throughout the chapters; it's a volatile story of betrayal and anger, with its occasional gruesome scenes.

I just wanted to mention that I wrote the first about twenty chapters over four years ago, so they aren't my best writing and they're quite bland. x) So perhaps forgive my not-great writing of the past. Hermione and Draco become friends, and he invites her to the Manor, where she meets Draco's parents, first and foremost Lucius Malfoy, who seems to have a special interest in her and is therefore putting Draco's and Hermione's friendship to the test.
What started as a friendship crumbles into enemies. Can they come back with the return of the dark lord and a second wizarding war on the horizon, or is the darkness surrounding them a place of no return?
