“But was it…y'know…better than ours?” Soobin won't meet his eyes, fiddling with the hem of his sleeve.
Kai blinks.
“That's what this is about?” He feels incredulous. All of this stems from competitiveness? Where was that spirit during the actual competition?
“No— it's just— I made our kiss suck, right? Your lips were touching my teeth.” Soobin pulls a face, seeming to relive the memory.
“It wasn't supposed to be a kiss, hyung.”
“I know that! You made it one!” Soobin sits up straighter, gesturing with his hands frantically, like he does when he's getting passionate in an argument. Endearment tugs at Kai’s lips.

Kai knows he's good-looking.
This should probably be considered an undisputed fact. He's an extremely successful idol, people spend ungodly amounts of money for tiny cards with his face on them, it only takes one search on any social media website to find thousands of people singing his praises.
But for some reason, no amount of compliments or reassurance from strangers and loved ones alike can force the voice in his head to agree.

Kai’s jaw, which had been smack bang on the floor, stuttered into forming a sentence, “Wh–what–why–how? How are you working with that thing on?”
Beomgyu pursed his lips, staring directly into his soul as he ripped his arms off his shoulders, flailing them around like an understimulated kid, “Velcro. I’m not actually trapped. Just getting good use of the costume.”
Narrowing his eyes, Kai nodded, “Right, and why exactly are you dressed up like this?”
“Because,” he shoved his face in front of Kai’s, their noses touching, ”I’m crazy for you.”

Beomgyu’s eyes widened faintly. “You’re in rut?”
“You triggered it,” Soobin growled softly, dipping his head once more to drag his tongue slow and deep through Beomgyu’s folds. “Of course I am.”
Beomgyu whimpered, his hands clutching fistfuls of Soobin’s hair, hips instinctively rolling into the pressure of his alpha’s mouth and fingers still deep inside him.
“I tried to wait,” Soobin muttered against him. “Tried to wake you gently. But fuck, Gyu-yah—you were soaking. Wearing my sweater. Laying there all soft and perfect and mine.” He pressed a kiss to Beomgyu’s inner thigh, then licked up a trail of slick. “How the hell was I supposed to stay calm?”
