“Solnyshko,” Ilya says hoarsely. “What are you doing?”

It was true way back when with friends at college, girls he knew from his various jobs, friends of friends who weren’t looking for anything serious. It was fun, easy. Having sex with someone regularly, someone you know and like, you get to know what they’re into, what they’re not and you can get deeper into what brings you both pleasure even if it never gets serious in any way beyond friendship. If Buck's being honest he was always holding out some hope that one of his semi-regular hookups might have turned into something more but it was a good way to blow off steam regardless, a shortcut to intimacy he wasn’t getting anywhere else and yeah– it was fun. It was fun.
