There goes that damn question again. Why. Why is Leon going so far? Why doesn’t Leon just say fuck it and let him die? Why does Leon do anything at all?
Maybe it’s because he feels like everything is out of his control, and this might just be the one choice he’s made for himself in years. Maybe it’s because he sees his younger self in Bryan. So naive and soft and new. Maybe it’s because a part of him still believes he can save everyone, even if all evidence is pointing to the contrary.
Or maybe he just wants to see Bryan’s face in the sunlight.
