Dunk’s just a lad from Cork who secured a full scholarship to Oxford… He feels inadequate— coming from a humble background and suddenly surrounded by hyphenated last names and signet rings. He hopes to not make a fool of himself.
Aerion’s family is facing a political embarrassment, the Targaryens may be asset “rich” and title rich, but being a Lord doesn’t pay the maintenance bills of their summer homes. And Aerion’s grandfather just lost the London Mayoral elections, so that’s even a bigger embarrassment. His family’s broke, and he’s trying to save face in Oxford.
They meet via a fresher’s party… and oh my god someone is in deep DENIAL.
TLDR: Lovable and humble Dunk meets pretty boy Aerion trying to keep afloat in a world where his family is losing its grip. Dunk becomes his anchor.

Nico is alive. Jason can feel Nico breathing against him, and the mop of ebony hair actually tickles against Jason, and Nico’s skin is smooth against him.
“You’re so cold,” Nico whispers in his ear, shivering.
“You’re not,” Jason whispers back, and he holds back a sob. He feels Nico’s hands wrap around his shoulder blades—and Jason doesn’t know if it’s the touch, or Nico’s silent word, but he feels calm. At peace.

Jason spends his time in the Underworld waiting for Nico to come visit him. Waiting for everyone else to die, so he's not alone. Wondering how he's in Elysium, and why he can't be happy.

[Alison Hammond appears now, “crying” into a gingham cloth as Paul Hollywood follows her, ringing a loud bell. They pass Alex, paying him no mind.]
“I didn’t mean to, Paul! I swear!” Alison cries as she wipes beneath her eyes.
“Shame!” Paul replies, ringing the bell once more.
[Prue Leith follows behind Paul, shaking her head slowly. Alex stops her and nods in their direction.]
“What did she do?” Alex asks in a stage whisper.
“She called a macaroon a macaron,” Prue says back.
[Prue follows Alison and Paul off the screen, leaving Alex looking after them, terror on his face. He turns to face the camera and swallows loudly before giving a grin that’s more of a grimace.]
“W-welcome to the Great British B-baking Show,” he greets before bringing the phone back up to his ear. “Noel, you have to come back. I’m not going to make it.”

Buck didn’t even look. He reached beneath the counter, grabbed a small white bag and the to-go cup of juice he had ready before sliding it across to Eddie. “You want the apple turnover. Some orange juice too.”
Eddie blinked. “How’d you—”
“You always glance at both of them but never pick them. Thought I’d make the call for you today. Start your day off with some joy.”
His eyes lingered on Buck. “Always do.”
Or Buck owns a bakery, Eddie gets a little sweet treat every day, and they learn what joy is.
