Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo were always side by side. That bond only grew stronger as they hid their secret together. Getting into Yuie was a dream come true for both of them, for different reasons.Katsuki would prove he could become a hero with his quirk or without it. Going underground would be a wonderful fuck you to every single person who pushed, and pushed and fucking pushed.
Izuku was forced to take a quirk far too much for his body, told in no uncertain terms that the number one spot waits for him. The pressure was almost too much, no matter how much Katsuki insisted he didn't have to listen. Not to All Might, not to Inko, not to anyone but Izuku.
To bad it took almost dieing for both of them to realize asking for help wasn't such a bad thing.

Summary
Izuku Midoriya. The name of the most sought after doctor in Japan, now chief of surgery at Shizuoka Medical Unit. The only people who knew of him were people in, around, or interested in the medical industry. Sometimes the news would finally get something out of the doctor. Though few knew him personally.
The world at large had no idea about his devastating past, and Izuku liked it that way. The man had become a different person, one he was proud of. That is until Red Riot and his hero team came rushing in. The unbreaking hero, very much so broken, and Izuku finds himself face to face with Katsuki Bakugo. His childhood friend. Face to face with the heroes he has watched grow over the years because of Katsuki.
Something shifts, like the world tilted slightly in Izuku's favor. It's up to the surgeon whether he follows that tilt. Follows those purple eyes, that keep watching him work. Listens to the oh so tired voice drawl in his ear. Izuku will not be fooled again by fake kindness. But maybe this is different? Just maybe the burden on his shoulders can be carried not just by himself, but by those who understand.
Which direction will he take? What path is more promising?

In this particular universe, Izuku Midoriya never met all might, their for never received one for all. The bushy tailed boy has a quirk not many find hero-like, and with it comes new hardships and mysteries. This adventure wont be easy, two boys lost in their own separate hells, already given up the hope of safety and love. What will happen when a sudden event makes both these boys lives change overnight? will they roll with the punches, and work with their "heros"? Or will they fight tooth and nail to go back to what they were oh so us too, being terrified of this change?

A vague flash of a comforting, reliable, exhausted voice flashes through Izuku’s mind and he feels his lower lip wobble with a small smile.
“Kid.” Izuku turns towards the voice, pretending he doesn’t see the concerned glint in the man’s eye. “If you ever need anything, you know where to contact me. Really, anything, and I’m here.”
Sniffling pitifully, Izuku sits up, grimacing painfully at the pain stabbing into his everything, and grabs his phone with shaky hands.
