Summary
"Interpol! Freeze!" Zoey tried to sound intimidating, but her voice cracked halfway through.
The figure whipped their head around at the commotion. Her face was mostly concealed in the shadow of the hood, but Zoey could make out the soft line of her cheeks and the pink tint of her mouth as it opened slightly in shock, then turned up into a small smirk.
Her voice was smooth, amusement lacing her tone as she spoke, "Well, now this is a first."
Holy shit, this woman even sounded hot. Her coolness level just went up to an eleven.
The woman took a step backwards towards the main entrance to the exhibit, but she remained facing Zoey.
"Don't even try it," growled a voice from behind her. The woman glanced back to see Mira blocking her escape, weapon drawn and scowl planted firmly across her face.
The woman's smirk only grew, and Zoey had to banish the unwelcome thoughts her mind conjured. She slowly raised her hands in surrender. "Two against one? That hardly seems fair."
OR:
Ryu Rumi is an international super-thief. Mira and Zoey are the Interpol agents assigned to catch her.
