Summary
In the nineth year of the Trojan War, Odysseus stumbles upon a little boy in the forests of Troy. With Achilles refusing to fight and the Achaeans at a distinct disadvantage, he doesn't have the time or energy to deal with bringing a Trojan child back to camp and the uproar that will likely follow it.
It really is too bad that Odysseus is nothing if not a victim to his fate-- and to the tear-filled eyes of a boy not much younger than his son.
or: my take on an astyanax lives au with inspiration taken from the events of 'the horse and the infant' and the iliad (though, you don't need to have read it to understand what's happening).

Summary
Bruce paused for a moment, considering his words carefully. “I think you’re ready to start patrolling on your own. How would you feel about that?”
Tim tried to ignore the sinking feeling in his chest. Something was very wrong. “I dunno. Being Robin is pretty great.”
“Well… I was thinking of giving the title of Robin to Damian.”
Just like that, Tim’s fragile world came crashing down around him.
Or: All Tim has ever wanted is to be a part of the Wayne Family. Instead, Tim is replaced as Robin. As he tries to navigate his difficult new life and earn back the affection of the Bats, he finds himself going toe to toe with the Riddler. With all of Gotham on the line, failure isn't an option, and Tim is determined to do it all on his own. Meanwhile, the Bats wish he would just come to them for help.

Summary
It's not *Tim's* fault Batman slept with his mom sixteen years ago, or Tim's fault that Bruce Wayne regrets signing away his parental rights fifteen years ago, but Jack Drake sure thinks it is. Now Damian is bugging him about cows and family and Jason and Dick won't stop kidnapping him and Bruce is acting like court orders don't matter, like he doesn't have a huge bat-shaped secret to protect from literally the whole freaking world.
Why is Tim the only functioning adult in this situation?
This was supposed to be coated in angst, but it fell in the fluff bucket instead. (So, update, some people are saying this may not be as fluffy as I am advertising it. I plead the 5th.)

Summary
The Drakes have never been kind. Life has not allowed Tim to be so either. But Tim knows the Waynes are kind. He’s seen them at galas and in the capes. He used to think Batman would come save him. By age twelve, Tim has been planning his escape for years. Batman is not coming to save him. When Jason dies, Tim uses the distractions of grief and the press to disappear. Tim Drake doesn’t exist. The Crow, information broker and potential Gotham cryptid, begins operating out of the Narrows. Ruthless and a little unhinged, with a soft spot for helping civilians, Crow makes good money. Enough to keep his network of informants paid and a nest to sleep in anyway. When Red Hood reaches out for information, almost three years after Tim's escape, Crow must oblige. Jason, upon seeing that the entity that scares the villains and crime lords of Gotham looks like a twelve year old kid, can feel his adoption sense tingling. Time to call in the reinforcements.
