"What are you doing right now?" he texted one night, wondering what Jeonghan did in his spare time when he was not gutting fishes in the market and heckling at old ladies bargaining and low-balling on sellers like him.
"Thinking abt U," the other man replied; Seungcheol was both flustered and tired to even come up with a reply, tracking Mingyu the following day and showing him what Jeonghan texted the night before.
"Infidelity it is," his friend sighed, shaking his head as he dumped a tray of bread rolls in a woven basket, "Poor Jisoo."
"No, but what if he's really thinking about U?" he reasoned out, following Mingyu to the back of his bakeshop, racking his mind for an explanation why Jeonghan had sent that. He was a hundred percent sure that he was no cheater, "To be fair, it is an interesting letter! Umbrella? Unibrow? It's the best letter in the alphabet!"
"The city really did make you dumber, huh?" Mingyu sighed.
Running out of excuses to make as to why Jeonghan, a taken man, is pursuing him, Seungcheol goes to Jisoo, keen on snitching only to see him kissing Seokmin– oh, nothing makes sense anymore.
