Summary
Malik works a 9 to 5 at a retirement company, spending his days typing up reports and talking to his coworkers. A sudden rash of suspicious behavior breaks out around the office as employees report forgetting (or being forgotten by) their family and friends. Then, Malik meets Ianto Jones, secretary extraordinaire, who seems to know a lot about the strange outbreak. Ianto knows a thing or two about being forgotten, and he's determined to take down their suspicious CEO and get his life back.
(This is a Janto fic!!! All OC relationships are platonic, Jack and Ianto are my first and foremost. Inspired by the concept of being forgotten by everyone that's important to you from Spider-Man No Way Home! Almost all chapters published at once)

Set after the big finish story The Last Beacon and set before the episode To the Last Man.

With Jack and Gwen still processing their losses, Ianto finds himself trapped in a warehouse with John Hart, neither of them willing to let the other find a mysterious energy source first. John just wants to leave Earth, Ianto just wants to get this job done, and a parasite wants to infect them.
They make a surprisingly good team, when John isn't talking about spunk and Ianto isn't resisting the urge to shoot.
