“Looks like someone got tied up in his chores.” Koby huffs. “Alright, hold on.” Helmeppo’s hands roam across Koby’s shoulders and his chest, trying to find the initial end of the rope, some starting point to this madness.
“Would be easier if I had a sword,” Helmeppo mutters. He trails his hands up Koby’s shoulders to tease at the base of his neck, and finds that the knot in his mouth isn’t attached to the rest of the restraints.
“You are not getting near me with a sword right now,” Koby says as soon as he’s able. He spits out a few rope fibers. Gross.
Or: Koby gets tied up and left in a closet. Helmeppo finds him and helps (sort of).

Tenna has lost everything: his studio, his home, his lightners, and nearly his life. Despite it all, Tenna remembers being repaired, and he is certain beyond any doubt that Spamton is the one that saved him. But why would he leave, just to come back now?
Meanwhile, Spamton is changing. Again. An inky blackness is tearing him to pieces and leaving him fully undone. He wants to find a way to make things right with Tenna, but somewhere, in the back of his mind, a phone is still ringing.
In order for them to move forward, it seems like they are both going to have to look back.
Why can't the universe just leave them alone?
