Summary
It all starts with Kayne giving a statement. Kayne likes this world, he really does. He likes it enough not to kill the archives staff. Well he has to at least seriously injure one. What fun would it be otherwise!
But he's not done with his fun. He wants to know how Arthur and John would do working here for a bit. They do owe him a huge favor, after all he let them live!
Alternate universe where Kayne postponed having Jarthur find the Blackstone. (he thought it would be more devastating if he waited.)

Summary
It's Jon's third year of his time at The Magnus Institute a world unrenowned school that starts at the senior year of highschool and ends with a traumatized class of twenty-somethings which appears to be significantly smaller than it was at the beginning of the year. Although this school doesn't have the best reputation, it is highly prestigious and only allows students to study upon invite by one of the professors.
Jon doesn't even know why he started, maybe it was because he needed to escape his grandmother's pressuring judgmental comments, maybe it was Mister Spider paying him another visit. But most likely of all is that his curiosity got the better of him. Doesn't curiosity kill the cat though?
Well anyways, now Jon is in his second year, he's about to find out what Dread Power has claimed him... He's about to begin his journey in finding out what's really going on... God this is going to be an overwhelming life...

The Archival Team (and Basira) have ventured all the way to America so they can stop a ritual. A Corruption ritual. Which is great and all, but Jon get's quite sick. Very sick. So they figured, maybe even Eldritch horrors need Antibiotics. So Martin, Jon and Basira go to the doctor with Jon. Martin is there for emotional support, Basira is there to make sure Jon doesn't take the poor Doctor's statement.

This fic needs more attention!!!
The concept is really good and the author portrays jmart just as it should be. I personally imagine this to be a "One fell first, the other fell harder" situation.
This get's the jmart purist seal of approval.
