    The captain’s bed was much more spacious than the bunks and hammocks that the rest of the crew had to make do with, but it hadn’t been designed with three people in mind. His face was full of Alina’s (lovely, sweet-smelling) hair, and he could feel warm puffs of Mal’s breath on his neck, his body radiating heat against Nikolai’s back.

    Why on earth had he had to end up in the middle?

    Not that it wasn’t a position that featured heavily in his fantasies, but his fantasies also involved various activities that definitely hadn’t taken place last night, and most importantly, they never ended with an awkward morning after.
