Hello, all! This is a rewriting of my orphaned story, I Never Liked Robotics! :)
Charlotte Ryan accepts the offer to become the personal caretaker for the nation’s sweethearts: Glamrock Freddy, Glamrock Chica, Roxanne Wolf, and the nation’s not-so-sweetheart, the reputation-carrying Montgomery Gator. Unraveling both the curiosities of the plex and the nature of her charges, Charlotte must come to terms with how human a machine can be—and how catching feelings was never part of her contract.
Montgomery Gator has the reputation of biting off any leash put on him, and much prefers being able to do as he pleases. Though a rocky first few weeks has the gator discovering that five-foot Charlotte has a fire that rivals his own and a special knack for getting under his scales. If the both of them can endure the employment that binds them closely together, maybe the pair can eventually learn to see eye-to-eye—as difficult as that may be given the height difference.
When her own meddling starts to catch up with her and Charlotte’s job position is threatened, can Montgomery come to terms with the fact that he doesn’t mind being collared so long as it is Charlotte holding his lead?
