It's a hallucination, like all the rest. Objectively, Tim understands that.
But he feels the words like an icepick in his chest all the same, and a part of him knows. This version of Dick might not be real, these words might not be real, but what he's saying is true anyway.
"Are you fucking listening to me?" says the man in the red helmet. "The big bad bat's not coming to save you." There's a crash, and when Tim turns toward it, his desk's been overturned. His laptop is lying on the floor in a tangle of cords. If any of this were actually happening, Tim might be afraid that it was broken.

Bruce is stubbornly looking anywhere but at him, and it’s royally pissing Dick off. He slaps the metal table between them with an open palm, the sound loud and startling enough to bring Bruce’s eyes back to him. “You want to keep Tim safe, keep him alive?” Dick demands. “Train him how to defend himself, as quickly as possible, before it’s too late. He needs the physical skills, he needs safety gear, he needs at least one person to be with him watching his back, because he’s already proved that he’s stubborn and reckless and brave enough to damn well find a way to get out there himself without having any of that. Tim’s made himself a part of this before any of us even knew he existed.

During an unplanned and unsupervised encounter with the Red Hood, Tim takes an (also unplanned) dive off the side of a building. As Tim's life hangs by a thread, Red Hood taunts Batman and Nightwing, threatening to drop him. But does he really mean it? Because for someone threatening to let go, Jason's grip is awfully tight.
