I check again, but there was still no feed. Nowhere the ping could have come from. The devices the humans had in their hands didn't have the clarity of the message I'd just received. My inventory? I started checking my pockets cautiously. I paused.
There was something in my back pocket. I pulled it out. It was made of some kind of animal skin. Inside were two hard plastic cards. Written on one of them was "Hunter's License. E-Rank." with a picture of my face.
