Julia wasn't stupid. She understood her own feelings, obviously. And there was a… maybe ninety-five percent chance that MK was… also feeling this way. It was the awkward elephant in the room every time they hung out, every time an easy silence fell when they were watching stupid movies on Julia's couch, side by side, close enough to… Julia sighed.
She was not going to be the one to ask MK out. That would be embarrassing! And there was still a chance that MK might just be flirty for fun. She was hard to read sometimes, ready and willing to tease Julia for any show of genuine emotion. Frustrating girl. Ugh, Julia liked her. But MK made it so hard to express that!
Not that it mattered right now, anyways. Julia was not about to accidentally confess her, ugh, crush on MK when she was basically a snot factory.
