Summary
Sakura Haruka fights for two reasons. These days, now that she is strong, it’s to prove that she’s better than the guys she fights—that her worth is higher than theirs—but her very first reason was to prove that she is a person.
Haruka can take the whispers. She can handle the disgusted stares and the closed doors. She really doesn’t need anyone.
As long as she will always be safe from their hands.
It’s odd how much Haruka hates wearing hats, and yet the second she learned what short hair and a few bandages wrapped tight around her chest could do, she readily picked it up.
In other words:
Sakura Haruka hides her gender, finds herself in a safe place, and eventually (~15k words in) starts some kind of revolution that Bofurin probably needs. Sakura might be Makochi’s new spring wind, but storms are named after women.

Summary
- Sakura wonders if having matching things is what it means to be a family. They already have matching toothbrushes because they buy them in batches, and they eat the same food at nearly every meal; and of course, they still have their old uniforms, hanging in the closet of Sakura’s room next to each other. But they’re only matching because it’s easier to buy necessities for the group, and their uniforms are gathered in a corner of Sakura’s mostly empty wardrobe to prevent wrinkles. So Sakura doesn’t know if these things count. He doesn’t dare to ask either.
In which Sakura learns how it feels to share a home with his friends.

Summary
Sakura is the type to dwell on the past, but he’s also the type to look toward the future. That combination is what drives him to never repeat history. He learns from his mistakes, and does his absolute best to never repeat them. It’s commendable. It’s admirable. Suo respects Sakura deeply for it.
But it’s also a very slippery slope. And he thinks Sakura Haruka is a bit of a tortured, fraying, slipping boy.
OR
A lesson in which party self-deprecation hurts more.

Summary
The first time he falls asleep at his desk, he wakes to gentle fingers stroking his hair and hushed whispers. Haruka wakes with a start, eyes wide because how could he let his guard down like that? He’s never allowed himself to nap in his classroom, even if he was just running on an hour of sleep.
And then it hits him. He fell asleep because he felt safe. For the first time in his life, he felt safe inside his own classroom.
Haruka Sakura and twelve months between places that were supposed to be his home and the one place that became his home.

Summary
About a week after that, All Might asked Izuku if he was aiming for the hero course at UA. The question was so sudden that Izuku nearly dropped a microwave on his toes.
The truth was, if All Might had asked him that a week ago, there would have only been one possible answer to that question. All Might had gone to UA, UA was the best, so Izuku was going to go there too, if he could. But things were a little different, now that he was going to receive All Might’s Quirk.
“No,” he said, decisively.
All Might looked caught off guard, which was a very rare expression on him. “No?” he echoed, like he couldn’t believe it.
A laugh bubbled out of Izuku’s throat. He honestly couldn’t believe it either. “No,” he repeated.

Or, All Might tells Izuku about All for One before he gives him One for All, and everything changes.
