Summary
It takes Jean longer than it should to realise what the ovular purple mark on Jeremy’s jaw, and the squarish shadow over his Adam’s apple is. It’s only when Jeremy ties back his hair to start warming up, and Jean is given the additional context of four ovular bruises in a line down the curve of Jeremy’s neck, on the opposite side to the jaw bruise, that he realises what that is — a handprint.
Or; Jeremy has bruises again, Ivan Faser is a smug prick, and Jean can’t bear to watch Jeremy hurt himself with lousy men anymore.

Summary
It wasn’t a math kid with glasses and ties and a general aura of experiencing the world for the first time.
It was… something.
It was a guy, for sure. The thing was, the guy gave the impression of a squirrel on crack. But, like, hot.
Or: Aaron needs to be in two places at the same time. Andrew offers to help (read: accepts a not insignificant amount of ice cream bribes) and attends a math class in his brother's stead.
The pretty redhead who looks like he bites people for coming too close is not impressed with the switch-up.

Summary
Andrew wets the bed once. Maybe it's a one-off?
He's not so lucky. He’s always known optimism is a scam.
For a while it seems like it really could have been a one-off. Long enough that Andrew starts letting Neil in his bed some of the time, and the times he doesn’t it’s for different reasons. It starts to seem like he can put it behind him, in his less than ideal but not fully traumatic memories bank.
It happens again. And again.
