Summary
It was obvious to anyone not from Twisted Wonderland who knew Greek mythology that learned how Hades actually existed here, that this was their reality. Not some old Disney movie that horribly depicted the source material, but actual events written down in history. Fin.
So, naturally, Alfie did NOT keep that in mind when making references to Rick Riordan's works out of hyperfixation and homesickness. Even more so when he somehow got his hands on his hardcover book collection from his old world.
Speculations start, rumours are spread, friendships strengthen, bets are made, and chaos ensues.

People misunderstand Alfred's hyperfixation as real experiences, and suspect that he may be a demigod or legacy child back in his old world. Alfred McFumble now has to commit to the bit because this rumour about him is the coolest thing ever, and he's not letting it go for as long as he can.
