Summary
But it would be funny, wouldn’t it? The golden boy of the school, the heir to the conglomerate, the brand ambassador for the theatre gay stereotype; in love with his freakish British–well, not rival. His equal, perhaps, even though neither of them have one. Time has curdled theory to ennui to – something. Some kind of fever, some urge to win Light’s affection and confession, to make him surrender. L will name it when he fulfills it.
Or: Student Council President Yagami Light and Vice President L Lawliet's absurd mating rituals, ft. horrible love advice, emotionally supercharged stares, an omegaverse quiz, Ryuk's eloquent narration and poorly managed jealousy. Co-starring two 'rival' Treasurers, one Secretary dedicating her life to romantic retrograde, and Matt.
or: a retelling of kaguya-sama: love is war wherein two obsessive morons bait each other into falling in and confessing their love to them, solely so they can establish dominance over the other. any allegations of feelings involved (specifically from misa, near, mello and matt) are libel and slander.
