Still, the way Clark Kent is staring at her, all too serious, filled with too much wounding devotion, she fears what he’s going to say because she’s always thought he’s perpetually one step shy of declaring his feelings for her — and she doesn’t entirely know what her response will be. Lois usually has her answers for everything.
He steps forward. “I need to tell you something, Lois. Something I should have told you a long time ago.”

Percy laid down, rolling to face the wall with his back to her. He didn’t know why it unnerved him so much, it wasn’t like they’d never slept in the same room before. Still, the silence wasn’t helping matters much.
Annabeth clicked off the lamp, shrouding the room in total darkness with only a slim line of light coming in above the curtains. If he could just keep his eyes closed for long enough, he’d have to fall asleep, right?

Summary

When he'd punched her boyfriend on Christmas Eve during his last year of school, he'd believed that Sansa would probably hate him forever. He was wrong.
Twelve years after leaving Hogwarts to pursue a career as an Auror, Jon returns to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts when a serious injury leaves him unable to continue in his chosen career. There he'll be reunited and become reacquainted with Sansa Stark who is now the Head of the Hospital Wing for the school. And perhaps for once, their timing will be just right.
