Summary
In which Damian, a half-fae changeling, goes on a quest to ‘catch’ his father, and along the way picks up new siblings like they’re Pokémon.

Mother often told Damian stories about his father. The great Batman and how clever and strong he was, able to live within a Fae court without losing his name, freedom, or form. It was a feat unreplicated by any human before, and Mother thought it likely there would be no human after. There were humans who had outsmarted the Fae, who had run away or won their Games, but to actually live among them? For more than a mere Dance or day? The Court still spoke of him in awed whispers.
The great Batman who no one could catch.
It was why she’d chosen him, in the end. Mother could have had any human, and had proven so by catching many of them over the years, but it was this Batman who intrigued her, challenged her, and had proven himself to be the best above all others. She’d tried to catch him daily, but he’d seen through every trick, avoided every trap. The more time passed, the longer Mother’s admiration for him grew, and the more she challenged him, the more he reciprocated until…

"They only terrorist here is you," Aaron sneered. It didn't end there because next thing Damian knew Aaron was on top of him, reigning down first after first, but this time they weren't to his face, that way they couldn't be see. Aaron was an offensive lineman for his high school football team, and he wrestled, which meant he was big. Bigger than Damian, and stronger too, and while he was a far cry from Robins skills, he was good enough to at least make sure Damian couldn't get back up, not without fighting, and he refused to hurt Aaron. After all he was a civilian. And we don't hurt civilians
He was trapped. By the time Aaron was done his body was bruised and hurt, but he forced himself up. He practically ran to the bathroom to cover it all up with makeup, just in case, but the moment he laid eyes on his knife he had a new plan.
You couldn't even defend yourself from a civilian. What kind of assassin are you?

Tim had never infiltrated a criminal organization before.
At least not… physically, you know.
Infiltrating systems had been part of Tim’s life full-time in recent years, but he wasn’t stupid enough to think this wouldn’t be different from that. Hacking into networks, bypassing firewalls, stealing data… those were all things he could do from the safety of his room, his fingers flying across a keyboard while sipping on lukewarm coffee.
