Summary
It’s been nearly 27 years since Eva Stratt forced Ryland Grace to board the Hail Mary and sent him off to his death for the greater good of mankind. Meanwhile, Eva and the Project Hail Mary team have been fighting a losing battle against the cooling sun—and their own demons—trying to make sure there were still people to be saved by the time the crew could send a solution home. Right on schedule, the beetles are returning to Earth, hopefully with the answer to saving the world. But Eva has something else to worry about; there’s every possibility Ryland Grace’s last words would be coming home, and all the time in the world couldn’t make her ready to face the consequences of her actions, or what will happen when her colleagues find out what she did to their friend.
It was time to find out if it was worth it for her to sacrifice Grace, and her soul, to save humanity. And to find out if she was ready to face him after all these years…- Language:

spider-man goes to midtown school of science and technology (@MSSTtigers) and peter parker is actually a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent working to keep spider-man's identity a secret: A Thread
5.2k likes 4.7k retweetsPeter Parker’s life went up in flames after a single tweet. Ok, that’s a little dramatic, but that was essentially what had happened if you were to ask Peter. All thanks to Cindy Moon, Peter’s life went from bad to worse.
It all started with a Cindy’s conspiracy theory about Spider-Man’s identity. How Peter supposedly being an agent for S.H.I.E.L.D. entered the equation was still a mystery, and he would be lying if he said the accusation wasn’t driving him insane. No matter what Peter said or did, all people saw was Agent Parker, the teenage spy protector of Spider-Man’s identity.
At least no one suspected him of being said wall crawling vigilante, but maybe that would have been better than the psychic damage Peter’s friends decided to inflict upon him thanks to the theory. If that’s how it was going to be, the best Peter could do is mess with them back.

Summary
“Just an interview would be good,” Peter said, clearing his throat. “I’m mostly a photographer, not sure I’ve got the interrogator qualifications.”
“Photographer, hmmm. . .well, I can definitely think of a few things you could take a picture of -” Deadpool started, then stopped, lenses narrowing. “Wait a flaming hot second. Peter Parker? Why does that name sound familiar?”
Peter tensed. Had someone figured out Spiderman’s secret identity and sicced a mercenary on him to try and catch him when he wasn’t in costume?
As Peter began to spiral, Deadpool glanced down at the newspaper in his lap, looking at the front page cover. He squinted, pulled the paper closer to his face, and then let out an auditory gasp.
“Holy shit balls, you’re the guy who takes all those hot pictures of Spiderman!”
“Excuse me?” Peter said, torn between relief and confusion.

or, Peter has to interview Deadpool, which quickly spirals into him being offered an obscene amount of money to sell Deadpool pictures of Spiderman. Between keeping up his secret identity, Deadpool’s flirting, and a growing mob threat, Peter quickly gets in over his head.

Summary
Peter rolls his head up, eternally pitiful, puke on his chin, tear tracks staining his cheeks, and sees a handful of shadows flying into the room like they’d been summoned by Doctor Facilier. Black things, evil things, the air chills and stiffens like vertebrae aligning and Peter begins to shake. Bucky and Natasha are there, blank-eyed and hand-cuffed, hair standing frizzy, on-end in the way Peter knows means electrocution. A blur-faced guard frog-marches each of them through the door, pauses before they are brought to their own tables, which stand in waiting across from Peter and Sam. The vague light through the door shows Peter Natasha’s lip is split, Bucky’s flesh arm is hanging crooked, and behind them—
Behind them stands Quentin Beck, a little gaunter, a little scruffier, but so very much alive that Peter is hyperventilating already.
“Hey, Petey! My old friend,” Beck says. His smile is like glass edges blown red over a fire. “It’s been a while, kiddo. Good thing I’m all ready to make up for lost time, huh?”
