Hitoshi and Izuku have been achieving a lot of relationship 'Firsts' recently. First kiss? It took awhile, but it happened! First argument? It was only over movie choices but it still counts. First apartment? Just signed the lease.
Now they're lengthening the list by attempting to adopt a new pet. And, even though it ends up being a little more strenuous than they first expect, the experience leads to another First in their relationship. One they've both been very hesitant about crossing off the list.

“Momo? I’m here,” Shouto calls from outside of her door. She texted him only a few minutes earlier with the words, 'Emergency. Not dying.' And despite the confirmation that she was not, in fact, dying, he still dashed to her room as quickly as he could.
“The door’s unlocked,” Momo replies through the door and Shouto wastes no time swinging it open and entering. He’s met with the image of Momo clutching her abdomen with her bottom in the air and her head on a pillow.

Before she started tutoring him the blond was at least scoring within the C-range. Now, he’s barely able to score above a D on his best day. Not only is Tsuyu a bit guilty about his downward spiral she’s also anxious. Bakugou was drastically affecting her performance record which determines if she gets rehired after the summer break.
She sees him five days a week for three hours each day and he’s just. Not. Getting. It. Which is ridiculous. He’s incredibly intelligent! A chemistry major with a 3.99 GPA. Mathematical Physics is tough, sure, but nothing Bakugou shouldn’t have been able to handle. Except it is, for some reason, and it’s beginning to look like it's her fault.
