But there were only a very few people who knew.” He held up a hand, almost as though to count on his fingers. “Myself, Morgana, a few of my father’s closest advisors. Gaius.” He paused. “You.” His expression grew solemn. “Should I be worried that you’re the spy?”
“What? No! I would never betray you.”
“But you’re sure you didn’t let something slip?”
“Of course not.” Merlin’s voice grew heated. “I told no one.”
Arthur raised his own voice in response. “Really, Merlin? Because I don’t think you could keep a secret if your life depended on it.”

Surely you didn’t come all this way just to enjoy my sparkling wit and charming personality?” A thoughtful look came over his face. He leaned in again and gazed into Crowley’s snakelike eyes. “What is it that you desire, Crowley?”
