He would do anything for those he cared about, even those he didn’t. But that was just the outer shell, Peter Parker was also one of the strangest people Tony had ever meet.

    Percy Jackson knew that when he came back, things were different. Sure, he'd been out of the area for a while on yet another insane quest by meddling gods, and the Blip had ended just a while before it (though, thankfully, no demigods were affected - apparently, the odds were mostly in their favor since they had the blood of literal gods in their veins, and both Sally and Paul had been fine, or Percy would have rained holy terror on fucking Thanos and a tiny thing like having to traverse to the hells of non terrestrial beings wouldn't have stopped him, since the Avengers had killed him), but he had a very bad feeling, and those tended to pan out.

    Still, when he went home for a break from camp, Annabeth going on a short trip to her Dad, too, Percy was ready to relax, damn the consequences.

    And then he found out May Parker, his favorite non-family mortal (since Rachel was now part of their world) had died.

    Gods, he felt for Peter.

    … Wait. Where was Peter?

    In other news, Clint apparently has a new protege, Sam is the new Captain America, and the Avengers are coming back, baby!
    Except they're not, because honestly, why was Spiderman not called for this? He was practically Stark's heir for the superhero life.
