And what if Rumi's girls follow her and witness her encounter with Celine? Thank god they did, they don't want to have to think about what would have happened if they hadn't.
One last 'what if', what if the author had a better, more descriptive way to describe this story and make it more interesting. unfortunately he does not so that's what you guys get so read to find out more.

"Mira." Zoey warns.
"And lately? When I look at you? I don't see the girl we grew up with and love."
Rumi's hands begin to shake. "...what do you see?" she whispers.
"A demon. I don't trust you. Not with me, not with Zoey, not with yourself. You're no different than any other demon we've come across. No different than Gwi-Ma."
There is a shocked silence.
Rumi face crumples, it reminds them of the way she begged just a few weeks ago. Begged them not to leave her. To love her. Things had been so good, she was selfish to think she could have this. To want this.
Her tone is flat and resigned. "Oh."-------
or Rumi tries to hide her full demon traits after the idol awards to protect Zoey and Mira from her, and out of fear that their new fragile relationship will break under the reveal. Mira lashes out in the worst way possible after she catches Rumi in yet another lie, and angst ensues.
