Summary
Midoriya Izuku and Bakugou Katsuki had been best friends since they were wearing diapers. It only made sense for them to plan to get into UA together and become the Wonder Duo, even if Midoriya was quirkless and the name seemed a little stupid as they got older.
But the villains in the shadows have other plans, and one unlucky encounter has Bakugou going to UA alone while frantically looking for his best friend.
His tired homeroom teacher can't seem to catch a break either as a new assassin case pops up just a few weeks after school starts.

The voice laughed, cold and sharp, piercing through the walls Midoriya had carefully built around himself within the past twenty-four hours.

Summary
Giving teenagers alcohol is a bad idea. Anyone who's watched a movie about high school kids knows this.
But for some reason, Aizawa likes his kids just enough to let them get away with sneaking in alcohol for a party. They're graduating in a few weeks anyway. It's their chance to be wild kids before they're sucked into hero society.
Of course, it's still teenagers and alcohol. It goes mostly fine.

It’s all instinct, and he’s grateful for it. If he’d given his overzealous mind the chance to consider another way, he would have missed his shot. Instead, his arms hurl the boy into the hands of another survivor...
And his right foot misses the edge.

Summary
He knows he could have called Maddie and she would have been there, though the memory of her disappointment last time stopped him. As for everyone else—even if he weren’t prohibited from talking to them by his lawyer, Buck doubts anyone would have come. The last time they talked was when they ran into each other in the grocery store a week back, and, since Buck is not eager for a repeat of that interaction, he doesn’t even consider calling anyone in to hold his hand for what is, he tells himself, probably just another little blip on his road back to the 118.
He is able to convince himself of this up until the moment Dr. Gutierrez walks into his room and says, “Well, Evan, you just can’t seem to do anything the easy way, can you?”
Because, as it turns out, there is a circumstance under which a tiny clot that doesn’t cause you to vomit blood in front of all of your friends and family is worse than three big ones that do: that circumstance is called ‘being on blood thinners.’

Summary
Buck doesn’t think that if he were to say, “I’m in a bad place”, that anyone would turn him away. Really, he doesn’t. The 118 has too many good, kind people for that.
But every time he wants to open his mouth, to say something, to reach out to Eddie or Bobby or Hen or Chim, he hears Eddie yelling, “you’re exhausting.”

So each day he does his job and he laughs and he jokes and he pretends he’s the care-free goofball he’s always been. And each day he packs away his bruises and his worries, takes them home to his empty loft with its quiet rooms, and licks his wounds in silence.

or. Buck tries to switch houses for a period of time and freaks out when Eddie makes it clear he's not going alone.
