‘We’ll first head to Fuxian Lake in Huo Prefecture to taste their celestial dew tea - stay for two days, circle over to Venerable Qin’s place for his vegetarian fare, and there, rest and cultivate for half a month. After that, we’ll be boarding a boat to sail down Tuo River and tour the Smaller Divine Gorge - Buddha’s Light is an attraction on that mountain, and if we wait for ten days or so, we'll get to catch it for sure! Following that, we’ll go to Fengqi Ravine bringing Fei Liu along to see the monkeys, and it’s just as well - we haven’t seen Weiming, Zhusha and Qinglin in a long time, so we can drop by for a visit along the way. Aren’t Dingzhen-popo’s spiced taro your favorite? Let's go and get two jars before returning to Mt. Langya.’
It didn’t happen quite in that order or to those same places....
But then again, that's only to be expected, because even the best laid plans can never survive contact with Mei Changsu!They still get their trip though.

He had no choice!!!! If he didn't do anything, his gege might have gotten into trouble, or worse, died!!!!
AKA as with canon, Josh fucks up and gives our little mushroom a happy ending, but the road is just as winding and the burdens just as heavy.
