Summary
Maomao is given as a concubine to the Moon Prince in an attempt to control Lakan. Jinshi is against the idea of trapping a young woman in the rear palace for her father’s poor attitude and tries his best to accommodate her as both the palace manager and as the Moon Prince. But as time drags on, he falls in love with his odd concubine and his double life poses many issues.
Maomao never expected to be part of palace life and finds it rather difficult to adapt to. That being said, she loves the new access to overflowing ingredients the palace offers, especially the extremely rare ones the Moon Prince has taken to giving her as presents. If only the meddlesome eunuch would leave her alone, he’s making things far too complicated for her liking.
(Mostly follows canon, but with Maomao as the Imperial Brother’s concubine)

Summary
Hidden from wizarding society, a species of Fae known as the Woodland Elves live in their heavily guarded forest Realm. Brought to near extinction hundreds of years ago by the destruction of their forest, they are fighting against further population decline from generations of inbreeding.
In an attempt to cope with the isolation of being unbreedable, a Woodland Elf with a genetic disease crossed from the Realm into the wizarding world, and had a child with a witch, then died. The child was then forced to exist in a life of secrecy, between her two worlds. This is her story.
She was born in November of 1975, and is in the same school year as Percy Weasley. After the prologue, the story will follow her from her first year of Hogwarts, and will focus on her relationship with our favorite Potions Professor over the years. There is no underage romance. The story follows them for many years, and explore the fallout of the war, and a reckoning of Snape's past deeds, both good and bad.
Mostly cannon compliant until the Battle.Rating - likely falls somewhere between Mature and Explicit for sex scenes. These are later in the story, and it is easy to skip them. Smut is not a major part of the story.
