Samira choked on an intake of air and turned her head to Joy as she walked through the doors, away from triage. “C-Call…call Abbot.”
Joy frowned. “Uh, okay? Dr. Abbot’s not on shift, is he? I heard he was sleeping.

The children were bored and it was causing problems for everyone. Trinity Santos was also bored. The board was slowing, and the waiting room was dwindling down as the snow became too heavy for anyone not actively bleeding out to attempt the journey.
Trinity grinned and leaned close to the children. “Have any of you ever gotten a cast?” They all shook their heads. “Do you wanna see one?” Trinity asked, conspiratorily. The tallest stepped forward, eyeing Trinity with reasonable suspicion. “We might.”
