“Viktor.” It’s a prayer, whispered to the stars and beckoning Viktor into its orbit.
“Oh god. Viktor,” Jayce breathes and Viktor...Viktor is lost. His hands fist in the fabric of Jayce’s shirt and he can feel the rise and fall of Jayce’s chest, can hear the pounding of his heart beating a warsong against his ribs. “You’re...we’re...”
Alive. By some sick trick of fate.

A snippet where Viktor and Jayce awake alive after their confrontation in the astral plane. Despite the enormity of what has happened, they at least have one another, and start the slow process of facing what they've done.

Summary
“Sorry, I can’t hear you over the sound of your teeth chattering.” If looks could kill then Dabi would be six feet underground in an instant. It’s only a noise from Shigaraki’s nintendo and Shuichi calling him for backup in whatever game they’re playing that has Shig’s eyes turning back to the game.
It’s oddly peaceful, and Dabi actually doesn’t mind sprawling out on the couch on his phone while the TV plays loudly in the background, only coupled by Shuichi’s and Shigaraki’s games, and the rest of the League’s ongoing conversations.
That is until Jin says, “Oh, shit. I think this one died.”
AKA how Dabi goes from being the League's only functional heater to being Shigaraki's personal one and not necessarily against his own wishes.

Summary
The Machine Herald is captured by Piltover after a failed attack on the bridge, and he is mortally wounded in the process. Jayce must risk everything to save him and repair the damage done, racing against the clock as Piltover hunts him down for treason, but the history between them complicates things. Despite his claims that his actions are no longer dictated by emotion, Viktor is still harboring anger and hatred for his exile in the wake of Jinx's attack, and blames Jayce for what happened. But despite it all, they still care about each other (in their own violent, traumatized ways) and as time runs out, necessity forces them to face the past—and each other—if they want to get out of this unscathed.
