A dirty white sheet pulled over an unmoving head, over a still chest—and when he reached out to pull the sheet back—to satisfy that strange curiosity building in his stomach, despite the alarm bells sounding in his head—sharp nails dug into his wrist to keep him from moving.
“Don’t,” the Agency doctor said, pale and sad and tired. “You don’t want to see him like this.”
Four years away from his partner should’ve prepared Chuuya for life alone. Somehow, that time apart makes it all worse though.

Summary
Jon can barely see the delivery man behind the massive bouquet spilling out of his arms. He doesn’t know much about flowers, but he can tell this arrangement is beautiful. And expensive. Red and black wild flowers sprout up between thorny roses, held together by a dark ribbon.
“I think you have the wrong house,” Jon says.
The delivery man turns and checks the number on their mailbox. “Nope. This is it.”
Jon is just wondering whether he has to contact the Justice League about this would-be stalker when Kon thunders down the stairs. “They’re for me!”

Summary
Jean wonders when Kevin was last held.
The Nest was a terror they both lived, and they found sanctuary in each other, even though it was never acknowledged. Fingers dragging over wrists, steadying hands on biceps. Hugs where no one could see.
Trojans dole out affection so easily. Jean highly doubts the Foxes would do the same.
