    AU: Charles Leclerc, rookie driver for Scuderia Ferrari, is deceptively angelic, all doe eyes and sweet smiles. He's the most darling little thing anyone ever did see and he has goals that, in his mind, are very reasonable:

    Win a Grand Prix.

    Win a World Driver's Championship title.

    Win the heart of Max Verstappen—and god help anyone who tries to get in his way.

    Because what if he just tripped and fell, right into Max's arms? What if those beautiful emerald green eyes turned teary and apologetic? What if Max simply held him, mesmerized, because Charles Leclerc is all innocence and good intent.

    ...Right?

    Max looks up and sees that Charles has rolled over to face him, blinking sleepily at him. “Hey schat, I’m sorry I woke you.” He murmurs, pulling back the duvet and climbing into bed.

    Charles shakes his head and moves closer to him, slipping his arm low over Max’s torso and resting his head on his chest. He moves his legs between Max’s and sighs. “Missed you,” he says quietly.

    Max pulls Charles closer, and wraps his arms around him. He presses a light kiss to the top of his head and rests his cheek there. “I missed you more, princess.” he responds.
