There's one thing Digimon Beatbreak has got me thinking about.
Considering the Digimon in this series need to feed on people's emotions or E-Pulse to survive, what would happen if they meet those who don't have to? Individuals able to live off of human food or different objects like seen in Frontier. We know how dangerous it can be for people in Beatbreak's terms.
The risk of humans becoming emotionless husks(Cold Heart) if a Digimon feeds on their E-Pulse too much. How some individuals loathe that they must continue doing such an act or else they disappear. Even an actual mental breaking point caused by starvation.
You can only wonder how these Emotion Eaters would react to a normal Digimon. There's definitely a chance the former group will be hostile with the latter. A normal Veemon can satisfy their hunger by eating ramen but the Beatbreak gets nothing from doing the same. "Why do I have to suffer?" mentality is a driving force in a conflict between both groups.
Although some of the Normals are likely to be hostile with Emotion Eaters too. People are likely to get hurt by them and Cold Heart is a pretty fucked up result from one overeating. A few would just think they're freaks or a mistake.
Depending on the situation, shit is more likely to get ugly with both groups. It does put some perspective on their differences though.
