Angel had struggled with Anorexia since at long as he could remember, though he never really called it that.
No, he simply just thought of it as him being healthy and maintaining his weight, and no one ever really argued him on the matter.
Recently, though, it had been getting worse and worse, and no one seemed to notice except for Husk. But, Husk also knew that Angel would most likely deny it if he said anything, so he waited and hoped that Angel would come to him first.
But, Angel didn't want to burden him, nor did he want to seem weak.
Things were getting so bad and he was feeling so helpless that he even found himself relapsing in the bathroom one evening, cutting himself to try and garner some semblance of control.
Of course, this didn't accomplish much besides a messy cleanup, but desperation can do crazy things to one's impulse control, especially when it's an old habit like that.
Eventually, Husk decided to broach the subject, asking Angel if they could talk, but this just seemed to send Angel into a panic, as he made up some excuses as for why he couldn't talk at that time, and basically bolted up to his room.
It was a few hours before Husk realized Angel hadn't come back out. So, concerned, he went up to the other man's room, and what he saw was... Concerning, to say the least.
Angel was lying on his bathroom floor in a pool of his own blood, clearly stemming from his wrist, which he'd cut in a very deliberate way.
He was pale and seemingly not breathing, which made Husk feel a bit ill, but he shoved it down. No, he had plenty of experience reviving men on the battlefield, and he'd be damned if Angel was gonna go like this.
He quickly cleaned up and wrapped the cut, then applied pressure to the wound with his foot while he began performing CPR.
For a few terrifying moments, it didn't seem to be working, but then Angel's eyes fluttered open, and the life seemed to return to him.
"Wha' happ'nd?" Angel asked, his voice slurred from the drop in blood pressure and oxygen.
"You tried to kill yourself" Husk answered, his tone unreadable. Angel hummed in acknowledgment, but didn't say anything. "No more of this keeping-everything-to-yourself junk, okay?"
"What's it t' you?"
"I don't wanna lose you, okay?" Husk said, a bit upset as he began to clean the blood off the floor. "Just... Come to me before things get this fuckin' bad again, alright?"
"...Okay"
