Summary
It’s been almost two months since Hawkins was split in half, Vecna disappeared into thin air, and Mike Wheeler lost his damn mind.
Right after the incident, the Byers were welcomed into the Wheelers’ house and allowed to stay as long as they liked (even though Ted wasn’t pleased), which made everything a lot easier—at least for them.
Almost immediately after the Byers moved in, Mike suggested that Will could stay in his room, and Will agreed. But with Mike’s annoying father around and the basement still unoccupied, the others decided it would be a better idea for Jonathan and Will to sleep down there instead, essentially letting them freeze to death.
At the time, Mike was annoyed. He didn’t understand why letting Will share a room with him was such a big deal.
But now, two months later, he’s actually grateful he doesn’t have to sleep in the same room as Will—because after what Eleven said to him when they broke up, he’d probably just die.Or:
