Summary
What if Mike Wheeler actually was in love with Will Byers the whole time? What if both of them were trans guys, with some parents being more supportive than others? This is a Byler-centric rewrite of Stranger Things that's mostly from Mike's POV and will focus on giving him his deserved character development. El's also gonna have some POV moments because I want more of her independence arc and self-exploration! There won't be any major deviations from the Upside Down plotlines, so I'll mostly be adding scenes/flashbacks that focus on characters' personal growth and relationships. Also, there will be angst along the way for SURE, but there WILL be a happy ending. Trust.
