Summary
Jaskier was part fae. A quarter to be precise.
There was an old superstition among humans that names held power, but for fae it was so much more than that. Names meant control. If you knew a fae’s name, their true name, they would be completely at your will. If someone knew your true name you were nothing more than their servant. A slave. All it took was a single command.
When war breaks out between neighboring kingdoms, Jaskier's father uses his true name and commands him to marry a witcher as part of a peace treaty. Neither Jaskier or Geralt are particularly happy with the arrangement. But as Jaskier gets to know him better he realizes that the witcher might just be able to give him the thing he's always craved. Freedom.

Summary
Someone is knocking on the large, wooden double doors that serve as the entrance to Kaer Morhen. In the middle of winter. In the middle of a blizzard.
The witchers move almost as one, grabbing their weapons. They make their way to the door, Geralt stepping up and preparing to open it as the others fall into formation behind him, ready for a fight. Geralt opens the door.
On the other side, Geralt sees… well, Geralt thinks he sees Jaskier, though he looks different, very different. Smells different, even.
“Jaskier?” Geralt asks, startled.
Jaskier smiles widely at him. Terrifyingly, there is blood in his teeth.
“I brought you a present,” Jaskier says, nonsensically.
For years, Jaskier has been silently telling Geralt he loves him. Only, certain secrets have always prevented Geralt from understanding. But now those secrets are out, and there are two cats loose in Kaer Morhen.

Summary
Jaskier seems to run into Witcher's quite a lot when he travels apart from Geralt. He also seems to be oblivious over how much loyalty he inspires.
Will that hold true when all the secrets of his past come into the light?

Summary
Geralt had a rule: he refused to accept anything but coin for his work, no matter what was being offered to him. So when a man offered him a creature by the name of Jaskier, he elected to say no. After several incidents left the two no choice but to become traveling companions when they are forced to go on the run, things begin to change between the pair as they struggle to find a way for Jaskier to return to his home.

Odmieniec [pol.] - a person who looks or behaves differently from other people; in Polish folk also a child of a demon or tutelary spirit tossed in the place of a stolen baby; a type of changeling.
Geralt, Ciri and Yennefer make it to the safety of Kaer Morhen. It would seem the witcher can finally relax a little bit, but the nagging feeling at the pit of his stomach is still present. When Geralt realizes what causes his restlessness, he sets of to a long journey. The journey that will change into a rescue mission, reveal some truths and force the witcher to reflect on his feelings. All of that possibly with a happy ending. Although, it's hard for Geralt to believe in that.

“It’s actually those other bastards fault, for chasing me into the trap but I see your point.” The man lifts his left hand, inspecting. “It hurts like fuck but it’ll heal soon, probably won’t be able to play for a few days but I’ve had worse.”
The man looks and sounds so gentle, Geralt really can’t imagine he’s had worse.
“Play?”
“Yes, the lute.”
“A werewolf that plays the lute,” Geralt says. This day is very bizarre and it’s only just started.
