The tale of a modern-day woman's journey in the Mo Dao Zu Shi world and her quest to find a way back home. Which would be a lot easier if she wasn't-
1) stuck in a new world full of ghosts, demons, monsters, and scheming cultivators
2) shrunk back into a little kid again
3) cross-dressing to evade the social norms forced on women in this era
4) studying cultivation (because apparently farming isn't a good way to search for some interdimensional portal back to your universe)
5) failing miserably to avoid canon- Is it too much to ask for me to make it out of here alive? -

Being Bella Swan was an unexpected challenge but, you know, it could have been worse. I could have been reborn into Twilight without knowing anything about anything and have to stumble my way through like Bella had!
