If you like this kind of story you’re probably desperate enough to check every new one out, if you don’t, I know there is nothing at all I can say to convince you to read this one, and if you don’t know what a reaction fic is and simply start this one out of curiosity , I might be the one to drag you into this rabbit hole.
If that’s the case, I am deeply sorry, and good luck. It’s pretty hard to leave this trope behind once you’re into it.

For a moment, the train cabin is silent. Sally, absolutely mortified, prays to all the saints whose names she can remember that the vigilantes just decide to leave, but they instead sit there silently, staring at her granddaughter from behind their motionless masks.
Then, Nightwing swings around in his seat to pin Red Hood with an outraged look.

Summary
The Alliance attempts to bring together the remaining Marleyan survivors and Paradisian political exiles from the Yeagerist purges by arranging a marriage between the last Paradis Royal and the Marleyan War Chief. Everything goes wrong.
There are no happy endings because nothing ends.
This story is canon up to the Rumbling, but the Alliance stops the Rumbling differently: Armin gets Reiner to ingest Eren's spinal fluid, Eren breaks free of Ymir(Níðhöggr)'s control with Reiner and crystallizes to stop Mikasa from killing him to fulfill Ymir's snuff fantasy. He remains near death in paths, working to change the Titan Curse.
I wrote this to take the sting out of the ending, not replace it, and give Eren and Reiner's character arcs conclusions that make sense to me. These two men were responsible for tremendous suffering and death, I wanted to see them contend with that, do penance and atone by building something from it like actual men. Not end with 'ha ha, they're pathetic' perv jokes thus trivializing both the characters and the harm they've done.
As always, YMMV.
Warning: There's a lot of mythological shenanigans in the last few chapters. Some people may find this off-putting.

Jason Todd grew up with a fundamental fear of being seen. Not in the sense of shyness, but in the sense of shame. He supposed, if he wished to contemplate the fear’s origins, he might start where most tragedies do:
The house he grew up in.
Where the act of wanting was as good as a death sentence to that desire.
He supposed he might even make an argument for the statement “people become what they are called”. He thinks that might have some merit, looking back.
What he fears most, (like most other people), is how obvious it is to others. The fear itself.
He wonders if they can see it.or
Thanks to a rogue meta, the batfam gets to watch Jason's memories like a movie; and Jason just really wants a family again. But you cannot be loved if you aren't known, and well... if circumstances provide? might as well take the chance, right?

Karma has always liked him best for those nuanced thoughts.

In which Karma grew up in the house of madness, learnt manners from the most annoying pair of murderous twins, may or may not have killed his own parents (he’s still not too sure about that one) and likes to use the fine line between genius and insanity as a skipping rope when drugged. All in all, a mission to kill his yellow with a dash of extermination tendencies octopus of a teacher doesn’t seem too weird.
Koro-sensei actually being a teacher though, now that, that is weird.
